We started on day 1 with 20 Million $EGLD. Every day (epoch) the protocol issues a fixed amount of $EGLD as a reward for $EGLD that are protecting the network by being staked. This issuance comes from transaction fees and “new” $EGLD makes up the difference between the current reward level and that collect by the fees.
