For legacy delegation it's a 10 day unbonding period, for staking towards a provider it is between 9 and 10 days depending on when you unstake to when the epoch change is (15.15 UTC) For many other networks it happens, some as much as 21 days, but this is normally for different reasons. Elrond's protocol is a sPoS one , (Secure Proof of Stake) meaning staking is vital to the security of the network As per the protocol. The 10/9 epoch (day) unbonding period for active delegation and Staking is clearly defined before people enter it. Here is a quick explanation. After the unStake function is called, funds might still be locked for delegation for several epochs, depending on system load ratio. For this reason, funds will remain locked in the ASC for 10 epochs. So it's to ensure the smooth running of the blockchain. It could be changed via governance in the future, but let's see. Simply put, it is for the security of the network. If people were chopping and changing all the time that could make the network unstable and possibly nodes not having enough stake on them during epoch change and they would therefore lose their node and would have to restake and go to the back of the queue.

No rewards are lost, if a Validator doesn't validate they don't earn rewards, it will balance our as the consensus is random, see above. The 10 days unbonding period is for the security of the network and the Validators themselves. You don't earn rewards during the 10 day unbonding period

You mean the fees you earn for providing liquidity? That's added when you remove the liquidity, you can't actually see the amount before, but you will see it should be higher when removed
