Heya. Is this new one or the resolved already? Best to keep in coordinator channels. ☘️

dan8769587173 commented on Hey, I got a ledger nano x todsy and I have my current wallet which is deadulus in my pc, should I wait till the goguen launch to create a new wallet?
No - these have no relation to your wallet.
dan8769587173 commented on Arent native assets and smart contracts related?
They are but also two distinct features of utility. The thing is - you can run native assets on cardano blockchain WITHOUT smart contracts - major difference from others, like Ethereum
dan8769587173 commented on I received 0 rewards on epoch 246, anyone had the same problem?
Check if your pool was scheduled to make a block 2 epochs ago - rewards do not need to be regular every epoch depending on your stake pool's size. which is totally okay. Also - there is delay for first time stakers of 15-20 days. #rewards
dan8769587173 commented on I staked at 242 epoch but until now didn't get any rewards why?
because it can take anywhere between 15 to 20 days intitially. 1 epoch = 5 days #rewards
dan8769587173 commented on You have link?
trezor.io, there also is Ledger wallet - but that has been hit with some customer information leaks pretty severely - so there's that. ?
dan8769587173 commented on Hello! I would like to ask a little help. I would like to save my ADA to my ledger X from Yoroi. May I ask what is the spending password? Is it the same when you log in to Yoroi??
That's one you use to confirm transactions when you send ADA to another wallet.
dan8769587173 commented on with k=500 does the min stake to get a block per epoch go down to around 500k? from approx 1.5m?
No - block minimum or better said lottery chances are related with d parameter decay. This is steadily changing since d=1.
dan8769587173 commented on Noob question: if I delegate to a new staking pool, will I receive rewards simply at the end of the epoch or do I have to wait another 3 epochs?
Transition is seamless. You continue receiving your rewards from old pool until new pool takes over. Changes take current and next epoch to confirm - hence delays.
dan8769587173 commented on Where can I see their engagement?
Most ops are active in telegram, twitter, reddit, cardano forum, facebook, where they aren't is the question. :)
dan8769587173 commented on Hi, how can I make sure that a small staking pool I re-delegate to is legit?
Stalk them on social, reach out, see if you get solid interaction. Watch their engagement.
dan8769587173 commented on Is it correct that a pool wit now 17% saturation has 17% × (500/150) = 56,6% Saturation after 6th of Dec?
New saturation level will be by 64M, unsure what you are asking? So 64M will be 100% then.
dan8769587173 commented on What version should I be on. I’m using 1.20. Is this ok? So must I update?

dan8769587173 commented on Understood I am trying to model out what the experience will be like in the mid to long term as a stakepool operator. Specifically, should I expect the return on staking to decline over time to some nominal rate that is much lower than today?
It's all a relative sliding scale depending on network parameters. Which evolves around appreciation/and or utilitisation of ADA token and number of SPO participants as well as stake distribution within the system.
dan8769587173 commented on Do stake pool operators earn a percentage on the ADA delegated to their pools or does the amount of ADA delegated has no bearing on the earnings of stake pool operators?
There is a fixed fee at the moment of 340 ADA per epoch universally imposed by the protocol parameter. This is paid from eligible pot reward prior distribution to delegators of that specific pool. Once that is deducted - then % margin is removed. E.g. if Pool has 5% margin fee - 95% of all rewards go to delegators and their ADA proportional to their holdings in that pool.
dan8769587173 commented on Why isn't there a cryptocurrency pair for ADA/ETH?
Maybe there isn't enough interest to drive that pair just yet. Could also be politics.
dan8769587173 commented on How are crypto pairs determined on exchanges?
Interest and liquidity - exchanges need to make money of transactions. So largely market driven or endorsements/subsidies to maintain.
dan8769587173 commented on Did anyone lose his rewards after epoch 223 on Yoroi mobile?
https://t.me/CardanoCommunityTechSupport/61375
dan8769587173 commented on are you sure about that?
So as long as your ADA is there back in time for each snapshot between epochs - network doesn't care what you do with ADA meanwhile. However, you do need to keep track of your movements not to miss these snapshots.
dan8769587173 commented on Staking is enabled start of epoch (snapshot start) and when your stake has "disappeared" during the epoch you won't receive rewards, right?
You will be eligible for last rewards coming from the epoch you sent your ADA to exchange.
dan8769587173 commented on Thanks, so i a click on "Connect on the Hardware Wallet" ,i select my byron ero and connect all the things to have my old wallet, after this i can create a new shelley wallet and it will be possible to migrate my crypto from my old wallet to my new wallet, right?
That's the plan. I made a new wallet first and then recovered it but it should work with Byron first, too...you will create new wallet inside. Idea is to get all funds from byron to shelley
dan8769587173 commented on Just to be sure, I delegated to stake pools on 3 Aug. Will it remain unchanged, or do I need to confirm before every epoch?
All works on autopilot once you set it up in the beginning. :)
