fli8531420984 commented on wdym by force me to sell my egld ?
Trust me, you really don't want swaps to open at $5. That would mean that all of the stolen EGLD, which is currently sitting in the LP, has not been moved back inside of the wrapping contract. And if the EGLD is not inside the wrapping contract - then the wEGLD inside you LPs is worthless because it's not redeemable. It's all a zero-sum game here... any profit anyone makes would be at the expense of every wEGLD holder and LP provider Be happy that Elrond are doing the logical and fair things ????
fli8531420984 commented on The rightful owner meaning, people that bought cheap EGLD without having any involvment in the exploit?
No, the rightful owners meaning, those users who actually own the EGLD which was taken
fli8531420984 commented on just curious, can you give me an example of a jurisdiction where that understanding of mine, would be invalidated pls?
You'd want to look for whatever the local analogue of "possession of stolen goods" is. Typically, being unaware of the provenance of any given asset is not a legal protection. E.g. if I buy a stolen watch - generally most western courts would not then find that I am the legal owner. There's not a whole heap of precedence when it comes to digital assets (espcially specific to defi), but it's clear that the assets in question here weren't sold their rightful owners
fli8531420984 commented on hmm, explain to me how the Price will find balance on DEX with Binance CEX if Arbitrations SC cannot function?
price on a DEX is just the ratio of one asset to another. they just need to take some of the wEGLD out of the LP and put some USDC back in. it's a little complicated but basically if you put the tokens all back where they were, then the price and liquidity are fixed like the event never happened
fli8531420984 commented on Well… what’s about the fundraising ?
What fundraising? ? there wasn't any token presale or anything
fli8531420984 commented on Hi, i hope somebody can bring me an answer on this: where is the $1.3B liquidity incentive taking action ? MEX are basically minted from the smart contract without $ interaction, is there some mechanism to inject $ to buyback MEX or is there another mechanism ?
Uh, you realize there's no actual person/entity with a $1.3B cheque right? ? It's just referencing the value of MEX rewards
fli8531420984 commented on Hi, how to find the channel ?
It's just named "holoride". I can't send a link in this channel. It should have 13,000 members. If anyone DMs you a link; don't follow it. Stay safe
fli8531420984 commented on 100% agree with you, should be abstracted so it is exactly the number of tokens we expect. Only thing is it is * 10^decimals, not * 1^decimals. Did you see that they updated the docs after our stream when we found that discrepancy?
Yeah, quick action ? abstracting for the sake of intuitiveness is a good thing ? perhaps too much of the implementation detail "leaking" into the UI at the moment
fli8531420984 commented on When did elrond's maiar go live? Which date? Anyone remember?
Jan 31 I think
fli8531420984 commented on what is "validate" option in elrond wallet?
That's for those running their own nodes
fli8531420984 commented on Which agency do u consider 4 staking ?
Any of the featured staking providers should be good... personally I'd probably go Palm Tree but check out some of the websites and see which one looks right for you
fli8531420984 commented on Elrond has been very good to me but now I gotta pay taxes. I'm wondering if I can download a .csv file of all my transactions for 2020 on the web wallet?
If you DM me your wallet address I can try pulling it through the API to a CSV
fli8531420984 commented on thanks sebastian. Also, Im trying to stake but how do i move the elrond in my waiting list to the staking?
Using the web wallet? Undelegate using the "legacy" menu, and then redelegate on the new "stake" menu
fli8531420984 commented on ohk thanks how long do i have to stake for?
As long as you like but if you unstake it'll take 10 days before the EGLD is released to you
fli8531420984 commented on how do i know which delegator to stake to? Also, the fees are around 15%??
Any of the featured providers should be good and have been vetted by the Elrond team. 15% fees is around the standard meaning you receive 85% of the network reward and the staking provider takes 15% (for running and maintaining the nodes)
fli8531420984 commented on Sorry If this question Is a repeat but what happens when the staking groups are all full?
No more staking possible after that... but Stake Capital is uncapped (at least for now)
