hey guys, does anyone know when exactly is a new balance applied while staking? For example, let's say I've been staking 10 ADA for a while and then deposit 10 more to my wallet. Are those 10 additional ADAs going to be counted in the next epoch or next epoch + 1?
For determining the block production in an epoch, the snapshot of stakes one epoch before its start is used and the rewards are paid one epoch after its end. So, any change – switch to a new stake pool, new balance, … – will have an effect on rewards 15 to 20 days later.
