So - I have personally not looked much into Polymesh to be honest, so forgive me if this is a rather basic question in that regard...
But: What does Polymesh offer right now for people interested in digital securities if there's no privacy protection and no smart contracts atm?
Been looking into their whitepaper a while ago I believe and from what I remember a lot of the necessary transactions that were being part of security handling where meant to be dealt with by trusted parties at that time. Is this still the case?
I don’t want to bomb this channel with discussions about Polymesh other than to note that it’s an L1, first to market, built entirely with regulated assets in mind. Identity and compliance are baked into the chain primatives so smart contacts are more of a “nice to have” feature as opposed to being necessary to enable full facilitation of regulated assets.
