I am not sure if this is a solution to your problem, but you can check the ipfs-car lib: https://www.npmjs.com/package/ipfs-car. You can work with car files like with standard archives, but yes, depending on the content, the CID will be different if you add something, but here at least you can know the CID before uploading it
