Sorry to hear this, dude. It happens quite a bit unfortunately. Update your Telegram security settings to reduce the risk of getting scammed. These are my suggestions: Hamburger menu > Settings > Privacy & Security > 1) Phone Number > Who can see my phone number > Nobody 2) Calls > Who Can Call Me > Nobody 3) Group & Channels > Who can add me to groups & channels > My contacts Hamburger menu > Settings > Contacts > 1) Review your contacts. Delete anyone you don't trust. This should be pretty much everyone. General advice 1) Admins will NEVER PM you first. 2) Don't accept invites to groups that you don't know anything about. Scammers will create shell groups complete with fake Admins and users from groups you are part of. You could compare usernames but better to avoid interacting in the first place. 3) Check here for confirmation or advice if you are unsure about anything. 4) If it seems too good to be true then it probably is.
