Staking (actually delegating) is done with smart contracts, and it doesn't require KYC. Staking currently produces around 12-13.5% APY of EGLD rewards, given ~daily. There are also metabonding rewards given to EGLD stakers. They're rewards of tokens from projects which have chosen to participate in the Elrond project's metabonding program.
