One technical question ???? Is Elrond able to process the same amount of transactions per second for the smart contract transactions like they do for the simple transfer transactions?
no, SC txs need more gas. There is a block limit per shard, so this means that network can process less SC txs. In the future when the limit is hit the network will just add more shards.
