Question for all people in the chat. We are from different countries and different cultures. Is the word "stubborn" offensive in your country and culture? In my country, we use that word a lot in everyday speech. Don't be stubborn about it, don't be stubborn about not going out with us, don't be stubborn, you can do it. I thought a lot about why Lucian T. blocked me on Telegram and the only thing I managed to find as something potentially offensive was the word stubborn. What do you think, did that word offend Lucian T. Is the word stubborn offensive to you?
We have at least three different words: for persistent (considered a virtue); stubborn (pretty mildly negative connotation) and an extreme version of stubbornness (hothead/unreasonable/stupid).
Saying that in person among friends or families in a context is completely different than on a TG in a text. Yes it could be seen offensive.
It depends how you used it / what context I suppose..
Didn't you accuse him of trying to steal your idea? Your twitter rantings were poor form
