You're not getting my question, I'm asking why dreams happen? Without any effort from our side? The question is same like why does life happen, so I won't accept insufficient answers like we're dreaming Because some neurons fired or there's some memory stored. I'm asking for scientifc proof of why dreams happen? To answer that completely, you need to explain the origin of existence itself. Why does it happen?
I think we travel to parallel universes when we sleep
There isn't reason why something happens. And I don't think we ever know "why"? What we all can know is "How". We can't know why universe was created, we can know how it was created. We can't know life was formed on Earth, we can know how life was formed. Same we can't know why we have dreams, we just have them and we can only know how. And we can't know why you're stupid either (Jk).
