your pols power will show 250 as well and having 250 pols power gives you 1 lottery ticket for IDO to apply. As that number increases, so do your chances of getting whitelisted — having 750 POLS Power would then mean you have 3 tickets and so on, and so on. As an added feature on pols power. if you have other sources - like you have LP and staking on eth chain as well. that will be added in your pols power.
