I mean, I don't need to confirm anything when using Metamask or Yoroi wallet. Why are they collecting phone numbers?
They don't. Your number is offuscated after your account is validated. Yoroi is like maiar by the way.
It's a security measure for centralised entity but for MetaMask it is different cos it supported with blockchain
